The Operation Method of FFA
A central goal is for the operation to form itself around the needs of tuition, research and administration in the universities. Therefore, in the planning of FFA content, member universities, professors, researchers, teachers and students have a central role.
A part of FFA courses are organised with international cooperation organisations. The focus of international activity is on the establishment of courses organised by cooperation, the development of education and the evaluation of operation.
Research activities in FFA include meetings for researchers, international seminars and active participation in scientific publishing. The most important FFA research project is functioning as a node in the Millennium Project of the American Council for the United Nations University. Interviews of significant individuals representing various fields are used as a basis for analysing, explaining and describing global long-term phenomena, and presenting different futures possibilities and strategies. The methods of futures research are also utilised to find out future challenges for learning, teaching and education, and to respond to these challenges.
If you would like to be a part of FFA activities, please contact the coordination unit of FFA.
