Research

Research activities in the FFA include meetings for researchers, international seminars and active participation in scientific publishing.

The most important FFA research project is functioning as a node in the Millennium Project of the American Council for the United Nations University. Interviews of significant individuals representing various fields are used as a basis for analysing, explaining and describing global long-term phenomena, and presenting different futures possibilities and strategies.

The methods of futures research are also utilised to find out future challenges for learning, teaching and education, and to respond to these challenges.
